Egg freezing offers a woman more choice about when to become a mother. Collecting, freezing and storing frozen eggs when the woman is younger helps ensure that they are of peak quality. At a later date, when a woman may feel it is the right time for a pregnancy, the eggs can then be thawed, fertilised and transferred to her womb (uterus).
