Tarquin has over 30 years of experience in life science executive search and interim management. He is an Advisor at Little Bean Journey, providing guidance and direction in a number of areas, including:

• Designing and promoting employee fertility benefits for companies
• Building and developing an effective team
• Developing and communicating Little Bean Journey’s core values and positive company culture.

Tarquin is currently a Principal Consultant at, an executive search company, George James Limited. Tarquin works on senior leadership roles in partnership with biotech, pharma, life science service companies, healthcare consultancies, charities, university and venture capital spin-outs and rare and orphan disease businesses. Prior to his current post he has held senior roles in life science boutique search firms and was an in-house Global Talent Scout at AstraZeneca. He has handled hundreds of complex assignments across general management, market access, R&D, digital health, data science, drug discovery, competitive intelligence, medical affairs and clinical development. He has been involved in many high profile hires including the CEO for the global vaccine non-governmental organisation CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations).

He started his career in teaching before moving into recruitment more than 25 years ago. Tarquin is an active contributor and advocate for the sector having chaired panels at industry events and delivered blogs, webinars and podcasts on talent issues and for those moving into the life science sector. He is a trained STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) and SIP (Science Industry Partnership) Ambassador and is an invited lecturer on the University of Cambridge Masters in Therapeutic Sciences course and a mentor for the Homerton Changemakers programme.

Tarquin has a Bachelors in Education (BEd Hons) degree from Homerton College, University of Cambridge.
